Abstract EN

The phenomenon of hatred has become one of the most dangerous questions.

Hate speech is one of the most prominent phenomena that have become increasingly dangerous not only at the local level, but in the whole world.

Thus, there is a responsibility to address this discourse in order to unify the social fabric of the Iraqi society.

The research aims at identifying the methods and determining the types and forms used by satellite channels in the dissemination of hate speech through their media materials.

It aims also at identifying the extent of rejection of university students on the broadcast of some satellite channels of hate speech that break the bonds of social unity, and determine the research community in university students male And female.

The researcher used the survey method to survey the target audience, students of the Faculty of Information at the Iraqi University in Baghdad.

The sample size is (150) respondents.

The research concludes the following main results: The research shows that the interest of university students to follow the Iraqi satellite channels is not permanent in a sense that they depend on them as a major source of information, it finds that other satellite channels have an active and clear role in motivating hate speech and deliver it to the public, other satellite channels use an indirect method in broadcasting this disclosure as well as the irresponsible speeches to politicians and the general public without deletion or responsibility.
