The legislative authority in Iraq has assumed an important role to play a prominent role in the making of many political, social, economic and administrative events.

This importance gained its importance through the events that accompanied the establishment of the first national government in Iraq based on a constitution during its modern and contemporary era.

So the study dealt with the definition of the position of the legislative authority of the Iraqi army because it has a significant impact on the overall political life in Iraq.

The period on which the research is based is one of the most dangerous stages Iraq has experienced in its long history because of the British control of all state institutions, as well as the emergence of some figures who played a major role in shaping the organizational frameworks in the formation of the Iraqi army.
