Abstract EN

The approach adapted in this study focuses on the other side of the aesthetic consciousness of semiotics, taking the sociological dimension as a cognitive basis, relying on the philosophy of post-modernism.

Metacriticism (i.e.

criticism of criticism) represents a procedural starting point for this study to prove its own view of the text.

Therefore, some Arabic critical experiences were selected to analyze the narrative text according to a socio-semiotic approach.

The aim of this is to arrive at an integrated method that helps in discovering the formation techniques of the literary text in accordance with the dynamic connection between what is aesthetic and what is realistic.

This comparison aims at revealing different techniques of interpretation of signs according to the modern sociological approach of the critical theoretical changes.
