Abstract EN

Repetition in Arabic poetry is very common as no poem may lack of it.

It is not limited to a specific type of poetry or language.

It is widespread in old poetry, Quran, as well as Hadiths of Prophet Mohammed.

Many studies in literature tackled this phenomena and is well-known in the different images of life.

It is used to understand the literature text regarding the attraction of attention, and showing aesthetic values behind the text.

The study aims at investigating the repetition in Mahiar Al-Daylami's poetry, and figuring out the rhythmic elements in the texture of his poets that move the reader.

Repetition is resembled at the repetition of letters, words or phrases.

The researcher tried to reveal the role of repetition in showing the inner feelings and self-components of the poet, and through the repetition of some words, names and places.

The poet was able to transmit his feelings and inner conflict.

However, all of this was a factor in building the internal image of him, which was reflected through repetition, and thus repetition is important for both parties, the poet and his reader.
