Abstract EN

The Great Mosque of Samarra or so-called Al-Malawiya is distinguished by may institutions belong to it, in order to meet the rising up of needs in its functions.

One of these institutions is (Imam's Chamber) which has been taken as a home and settlement for the Imam of Mosque, so that he can be there are all the time, specially in the five prayers.

Imam's Chamber exists in the north side of the wall of Great Mosque and next to the sanctuary.

I has an entry to Mosque near to the sanctuary and rostrum.

It has been detected about the bases of Mosque in prospections in 2002.

These prospections shoued the major bases and other details.

In our research, It has been depended on the reports of those prospections as well as field detections.
