Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, who favors us in Islam, who controls our customs and norms, the best of rulings, and blessings and peace be upon the master of messengers (Muhammad), the teacher of the people, indicating the best of words and deeds, and his family and good companions until the Day of Judgment.

And yet: There is no doubt that knowledge of the fundamentals of jurisprudence is for the sake of the sciences and the most important of them, because through it the knowledge of the legal rulings and their perception is reached, for it is he who links the rulings with their evidence, and the branches with their origins, and establishes all of that on firm foundations and solid rules.

And what is related to this science, and many rulings are based on it: the persistence of custom and custom and its effect on specifying general terms and judgments.
