The current research aims at evaluating the Arabic language book for the first intermediate grade (first part) I / 2017 in the light of Bloom’s classification of the levels of behavioral objectives.

By answering the following question: What is the frequency of exercises that measure each level of the cognitive field? The book is the comrade who does not tire of his companions, and the uninspiring prince who accompanied him.

Therefore, the school education book is an important component of the educational learning process is one of the basic means that reflect the curriculum and achieve its objectives, especially in Iraq, as it occupies a distinct position in the education of the student.

(Muhammad, 1989: 294) The problem of the research is clear, from the subjects that the students experience is the Arabic language.

The suffering of the students in the first and second intermediate grades has been dealt with by adopting the integrative method by presenting the Arabic language branches from (about, reading, expression, spelling and eloquence) It is clear in the presentation of the paragraphs of the methodological book and in particular the general exercises that were presented between the folds of the curriculum so the researcher was working to evaluate the second grade book average first edition of the first part.

After the researcher presented the problem of research, and importance, went to benefit from some previous studies to be a strong supporter in the identification of some important vocabulary and in the selection of research methodology, and the adoption of statistical methods, such studies (Khafaji study, 1999, and Kazem study, 2002, 2009).

The research community and its sample included the unrestrained exercises included in the Arabic language book for the second intermediate grade C1/2017 of (94) exercises.

The study made Bloom’s classification of the field of mental cognition at its six levels a tool for evaluating Arabic language exercises.

Using the percentage, Cooper’s equation statistical means reached the researcher to the results of his research: The level of knowledge obtained (8) recurrences by (3.52%) and the level of understanding obtained (10) recurrences (22.72%), He achieved (13) recurrences (29.54%) and the level of analysis was (13) repeated by (29.54%), while the level of composition and evaluation did not get any recurrence.

In the light of the results, the researcher recommended the need to make subjects and exercises represent the levels of all cognitive field, and also recommended the need to focus on exercises that stimulate students to think such as composition and evaluation, and not neglect the level of knowledge, and to cover the exercise of the objectives identified for the article, The six mental groups identified by Bloom, noting that the adoption of exercises that fit the level of students and ask the authors of the book when re-authorizing the levels of installation and evaluation of their share of exercise.

With the observation to adopt the exercises with clear meanings and lack of focus on ancient hair with our pure pride in our ancient heritage, because it requires a multiplier effort by the teacher and what to do with the student is free of mind, as it can be presented extensively in the advanced stages.

In order to complete this research, the researcher proposes to conduct similar studies on the exercises of the Arabic language book for the first intermediate grade (second part) and the grammar book in other stages of study.
