تناولت الدراسة شخصية احمد بن لاحج ودوره السياسي في البحرين، وإبراز ذلك من خلال مواقفه ولاسيما إن البحرين شهدت أحداث مهمة تمثلت بالتدخل البريطاني في الشؤون الداخلية للبحرين، ومن هنا تبرز شخصيته احمد بن لاحج كقيادي وثوري ضد إجراءات السياسة البريطانية ويلتمس ذلك من خلال موقفه من تصرفات الميجر ديكسون ومن ثم ديلي فضلا عن موقفه من حادثة السوق والمؤتمر الوطني البحريني عام 1923، مما جعل السياسة البريطانية أن تتذمر منه وتصفه "بالمشاغب" فتقرر في نهاية المطاف نفيه إلى بومباي.
Abstract EN
The study dealt with the personality of Ahmed bin Lahej and his political role in Bahrain, and highlighting this through his positions, especially since Bahrain witnessed important events represented by the British interference in the internal affairs of Bahrain, and from here emerges his personality Ahmed bin Lahj as a leader and revolutionary against British policy measures Major Dickson and then Dili, as well as his stance on the market incident and the Bahrain National Congress in 1923, which made British policy complain about him and describe him as "riotous" and ultimately decide to deport him to Bombay.
