Abstract EN

In this study, we attempted to present a study for clan gatherings that settled on the banks of the Shatt al-Arab in terms of national and cultural aspects.

Focusing on the commonalities between them that strengthen patriotism with reference to the most important personalities that had an important role in the region who very little was written about them.

And the areas these clans settled in, they have been forgotten, although it is the vital and economic nerve of Basrah before the outbreak of the Iran-Iraq war in 1980.

The search was limited to one of the most important of those clans that were not studied by most of the historical sources that have arrived to us although they had an important cultural heritage and a remarkable historical and social role which this paper tried to search it.

In addition to attempting to study an explanation of the reasons for the transfer of those families and clans from its original places and the circumstances surrounding it.
