Abstract EN

The school of existentialism is a philosophical school that speaks of humanity and its originality, which is based on the primacy of being on nature, and considers everything owned by human being.

Philosophers like Martin Heidegger, Jean-Paul Sartre, etc founded this philosophical school that revolves around the human axis and overshadowed western literature.

The ideas of this philosophical school also found their way into the contemporary Arabic literature and many poets, including the contemporary Iraqi poet Badr Shakir al-Sayyab, influenced by this school, have put man at the heart of their poems.

In this article, we are going to analyze the effect of this philosophical school on his poems by analyzing the school of existentialism and studying the poems of Sayyab with the following themes: human, life, mortality, freedom, commitment, etc.

From the point of view of the poet, man in this material world is strange and alien, Sayyab is trying to release man of his confinements in order to attain the true meaning of freedom.

The poet does not consider death as the end of the human life; instead he mentions it as a point for the beginning of another life for the surrounding people.

He regards death as a vitalizing and life-giving stream which contradicts the view of existentialism..

L'école d'existentialisme est une école philosophique qui parle de l'humanité et de son originalité, qui est basée sur la primauté de l'être sur la nature, et considère tout ce qui appartient à l'être humain.

Des philosophes comme Martin Heidegger, Jean-Paul Sartre, etc.

ont fondé cette école philosophique qui tourne autour de l'axe humain et éclipse la littérature occidentale.

Les idées de cette école philosophique ont également trouvé leur chemin dans la littérature arabe contemporaine et de nombreux poètes, dont le poète irakien contemporain Badr Shakir al-Sayyab, influencé par cette école, ont placé l'homme au coeur de leurs poèmes.

Dans cet article, nous allons analyser l'effet de cette école philosophique sur ses poèmes en analysant l'école d'existentialisme et en étudiant les poèmes de Sayyab avec les thèmes suivants: humain, vie, mortalité, liberté, engagement, etc.

Du point de vue du poète, l'homme dans ce monde matériel est étrange et étranger, Sayyab essaie de libérer l'homme de ses enfermements afin d'atteindre le vrai sens de la liberté.

Le poète ne considère pas la mort comme la fin de la vie humaine; au lieu de cela, il le mentionne comme un point de départ pour une autre vie pour les personnes environnantes.

Il considère la mort comme un courant vitalisant et vivifiant qui contredit la vision de l'existentialisme.
