It was well known Fact that the honorary title were given to those who acquired a prominent status in their Society.

They were considered a standard for the Individuals great achievements, which gave them the love and respect of their Follow countrymen.

However, It was astonishing that Roman women were given numerous honorary title and this phenomenun needs to be researched and studied especially when we know and consider the legal status of the Roman woman.

The Roman woman was subjected to the comprehensive guardianship of her legal male relative trustee through out her life.

This guardianship prevented her from assuming professional and public positions hence, she did not engage in the Judiciary and political activities, let alone military professions, which could lead to honoring her.

All these professions were reserved to the Roman male only,who was overwhemed with many honorary titles and awards when he achieves military distinction and victories in the Empires battle Fronts.

These titles and awards immortalize those Roman heroes for mary generation to come and they were engraved on their tombstones.

Howeven,from the advent of the Imperial Roman era and with the rule of Augustos in the year 27 B.C.

The Emperor’s women relatives were honored with numerous titles, which reflected their distinuished status in the Roman court and in the Roman Society.

This prouided then with splinder and veneration and distinguished them from the rest of the Roman women.
