Abstract EN

The goal of the research is to identify the level of communication skills with parents according to the assessment of the members of the research sample from the students of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Damascus.

And the level of ambition they have.

And the study of the correlation between the skills of communication with parents and the level of ambition among the members of the research sample from the students of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Damascus, and the significance of the statistical differences among the members of the research sample on the level of communication skills and the level of ambition according to the two research variables.

The researcher used the descriptive analytical method.

The sample consisted of (886) male and female students of the Faculty of Arts at Damascus University.

The researcher applied the communication skills scale and the ambition scale.

The research concluded the following results: 1.

There was a positive correlational relationship with statistical significance between the skills of communication with parents and the level of ambition among the members of the research sample.

2.

There were no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the responses of the members of the research sample on the scale of the skills of communication with parents and the scale of ambition according to the gender variable.

3.

There were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the responses of the members of the research sample on the level of the skills of communication with parents and the scale of ambition according to the variable of the academic year in favor of the students in the fourth year.
