Abstract EN

The purpose of the research is to know the status of the relationship between the school and the family from the point of view of the principal, the teacher and the psychological / social counselor in the basic education stage in Damascus governorate and its countryside,.

The research used the analytical descriptive method.

The questionnaire was designed to be applied to a sample in the city of Damascus and its countryside(290): principals.teachers and counselors.The research reached the following results: -High level of the status of the relationship between the family and the school in the basic education stage according to the estimates of the sample members (principal - teacher - counsellor) -There were no statistically significant differences among the members of the research sample to identify the status of the relationship between the family and the school according to the job description (principal - teacher - counsellor) in the total degree.

-There were no statistically significant differences between the average scores of both males and females according to the gender variable in all axes.

--There were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the members of the research sample according to the scientific qualification in the total degree, and the differences in favor of workers who have a scientific qualification (Master).

- There were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the members of the research sample according to the experience in the total grade, and the differences in favor of the workers with experience (16 years and above).

-There were no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the members of the research sample in the total score, and all axes depending on the region variable.
