Al-Mansouri Mosque is an important piece of historical evidence providing invaluable insights into the Islamic history of the city of Jableh on the Syrian coast.

It is distinct from other historical and archaeological buildings that exist in present-day Syria.

It contains eight inscriptions carved on its walls, dating back to successive Islamic periods.

The research included a historical study of this mosque in Jableh, including identification of its official name, which has been known under various names: the Great Mosque, Al-Mansouri Mosque, and New Mosque.

The study also discussed the current structural condition of the mosque and its problems, the location of the mosque in relation to the city plan, as well as an architectural description of the site (the plan, entrances, mosque, prayer hall, interior and exterior facades, and minaret).

The study also analyzed the educational role of Al-Mansouri Mosque in the cultural life of the city of Jableh
