The current research aims to identify the academic self-efficacy among college students, according to the variables of sex, specialty, and identifies research students of the University of Wasit for the academic year 2014-2015 and to achieve the objective of this research has been prepared by the researcher measure of self-efficacy among college students, and research sample of (400) students and a student of the original community's (18656) has been chosen randomly manner.
The researcher numbers of academic self, which consisted of 38 paragraph in its final form with help measure both (visions Mahdi Jaber Al-Baaj, 2011) and (Alaa Abdul Hussein al-Habib, 2013), and also the effectiveness of the scale, the researcher numbers organized learning scale self in its final form with the help of scale both (Enam Qasim morphological 2008) (Haider Hassan Shamsi, 2010).
As for the characteristics of Alsekoumtrah scale.
After data collection and processing statistically reached the following results.

1 The students of the University of Wasit have generally high level of academic self-efficacy.
.2 There is no statistically significant differences to the variable of academic self-efficacy by sex either specialization there a statistically significant difference in favor of scientific specialization.
