Abstract EN

The Arab Spring carried many benefits, exceeded the geographical area of states which witnessed it have moved to neighboring countries, that hurried in proactive policies precautionary measures, to secure and avoid situation in the neighboring countries, women had already made gains their in the reforms initiated by both Algeria and Morocco, where women have obtained a lot of benefits that enabled it to acquire many of the constitutional rights, However the implementation of those rights actually faced many obstacles.

This article is intended for research the roles of women in Algeria, Morocco, and their transformations after the events of the Arab Spring, especially those of the controversies which appear between the law and practice, under the orientation of both countries to adopt a transitional justice approach to achieving gender equality, hence the importance of this subject, which mainly aims to analyze the above, through the answer to the following problem: Do the events of the Arab spring were able to integrate women in public and political life in Algeria and Morocco?
