Abstract EN

Digital transformation of university education became an urgent necessity required by the global and local transformers.

Accordingly, the study targeted a concise list of the requirements for the digital transformation of Egyptian universities.

In order to achieve this, the researcher attempted a descriptive method where the importance and objectives of the digital university is meticulously studied.

A sample of (78) faculty members in Egyptian universities was surveyed on a court questionnaire prepared by the researcher, and after the interpretation and analysis of its results, the study reached a list of the requirements that should exist in Egyptian universities in order to be digital universities.

These requirements are organizational, human, educational, and research requirements.

The study also suggested a number of recommendations that contribute to the speed and quality of digital transformation.
