We believe that the media has the mind and thought of the nation and is the fourth authority through the censorship on the work of the government so it has a great importance in the communities and plays a large role in the development of societies or underdevelopment so the care of the media and creating a suitable environment for its exercise is a necessity.

We see the existence of legal loopholes in the Egyptian media legislation that waste a lot of rights of journalists, the most important of which is the ence of legislation that criminalizes the prohibition of media coverage, the non-recognition of the journalist working in foreign licensed newspapers, the establishment of strange controls for the membership of the media union and the ence of legislation that penalizes non-public officials for non-enforcement of judicial decisions.
