تعد الدراسات البلاغية من أهم الدراسات التي تعتني بكيفية توظيف المتكلم للمستويات اللغوية المتنوعة في سياقات معينة أين أنتجت البلاغة العربية وهي في أوج ازدهارها مجموعة من الأفكار و المقولات التي استطاعت إلى حد بعيد التحكم في العملية التواصلية و كان من أهم المقولات التي أطرت شروط الكلام البليغ" لكل مقام مقال".
يهدف هذا المقال إلى دراسة العلاقة بين البلاغة و التداولية من خلال: - السياق و مقتضى الحال- سياق القول و الأغراض البلاغية- موقف البلاغين العرب للسياق اللغوي.
إن المستقرىء و الباحث في التراث العربي يجد أن البلاغة العربية تحتوي على محطات ذات أهمية تساهم في التحليل التداولي إذ كانت تضم أراء و نظريات البلاغيين العرب أمثال عبد القادر الجرجانيالجاحظأبو يعقوب السكاكي و غيرهم.
