We will present in this paper the military campaigns to liberate the city of Oran from the Spanish occupation witch led by or participated by the converts from the Christian religion.

they were called the elches in Algeria, and this category contributed greatly to the first liberation of the city of the Spanish at the first liberation 1708, and to the second liberation in 1791 these attempts began in the middle of the sixteenth century, by Hasan Qorsu, al eulj Ali, Sulaiman Qataniyah, Shaaban Agha, and mezumurtu, these attempts continued until the 18th century with the rulers and rays of the sea.

The statistics proved that they represented between 10-50 % percent of the Algerians by the end of the 18th century, it is noted that most of the military campaigns to liberate the city of Oran happened in the period of elches, which is more than the military campaigns led by the ottoman of Algeria rulers.
