A look at the Artisanal an Industrial Society in the Town ofConstantine in the Ottoman eraThe Constantine community was a multi-ethnic and multi- cultural society.

Its citizens have come from different origins like Andalusian, Turkich, and Jewish, as well as the sect of Berania which is composed of Kabaylan, Jijelian, laghouatian, mezabian, and so many others.

During the Othman era to the beginning of the French colonialism, the handcrafts and manufactured was not limited just to one specific group or stream.

In fact, it was varied into productive artisanal such as " butcher, forger, tailor, qalale, qahwaji, ghrabli, carpenter, vegetables, bashmaki, baradie, sabbane, kharaze, malakh, and services, like " building, bayad, djabas, khamas, saqua, hamamdji, makas, hamar, fluffy, dalale, clerk, translator, qarab, qachar and so on.

Nevertheless, the manufactured and handcrafts makers distributed in principle cities and substantial streets of the city, especially houmat Tabiya, which springs into streets and avenues like alkantra, Bab aljabiya, rahbat souf, and city of the casbah, and other streets of the city of Constantine during the ottoman period
