Balfour's Historical Background and its Repercussionson the Arab Region(1917-1920)Balfour's Declaration is considered as a major turning point in the history of modern Palestine, through which Britain held its hold on Palestine and granted the right to the Jews to establish a homeland that gathers their diaspora.

Balfour's Declaration is the first historical written document obtained by Jews from Britain which admits their rights in Palestine.

Britain's ambition was to entice strong Zionist elements around the world, along with the Allies, to gain the sympathy of American Jewry, and to make Palestine - adjacent to the Suez Canal - and then defend its interests in the Middle East, but its effects were dire for the Palestinians in perpetuating the existence of the Zionist entity in the heart of the Arab world.
