Abstract EN

This research aims toidentify the real situation of corruption in Algeria, and the efforts of the government to reduce the phenomenon including the most important reforms and laws adopted in accordance with the concepts of good governance, then we tried to examine their effectiveness.

The researchrevealed that Algeria has suffered from the corruption phenomenon in previous years, which has led the government to implement many reforms and issue a set of laws to set up a general framework of good governance.

Moreover the research showed that corruption has risen steadily last years, which needs a rapid intervention and a depth analyses to identify what is behind the fail of previous policies on the one hand, and develop the appropriate corrective actions on the other.
