Abstract EN

This research studied the extent to which graduates of Jubail college of education have the qualifications required for Saudi schools and for the intended transformation to the "knowledge society".

The sample of the study was deliberately selected and included (144) school supervisors, principals and recently appointed teachers (who are graduates of the College of Education in Jubail) in the Eastern Directorate.

Aquestionnaire was developed by the researchers to get the opinions of the sample on the roles of teachers in the transformation to the "knowledge Society".

The questionnaire included nine pivots representing these roles.
