تستهدف هذه الدراسة اختبار العلاقة بين عجز في الموازنة و نمو النقود بالإضافة للتضخم في الجزائر خلال الفترة الممتدة من 2016-1970 باستخدام بيانات سنوية و منهجية السببية لغرانجر.
خلصت نتائج الدراسة إلى تحقق فرضية Sargent and Wallace hypothesis (SW‐H) التي تنصرف لوجود علاقة سببية من العجز إلى نمو النقد الذي بدوره يؤثر في التضخم.
من جهة أخرى نفس النتائج لم ترفض فرضية النظرية النقدية (MH ) التي تؤكد أن العجز ظاهرة تضخمية وكل هذا يقودنا للاستنتاج على تحقق ظاهرة الهيمنة المالية التي تسبب ارتفاع الأسعار و عدم كفاءة السياسة النقدية.
Abstract EN
The goal of this study is to analyze the relationship between budget deficit, money growth and inflation in Algeria through an empirical analysis using granger causality upon annually data for the period 1970-2016.
On the one hand, this study supports Sargent and Wallace hypothesis (SW‐H), which emphasizes that causality goes from deficit to money growth and, thereafter, from money growth to inflation.
On the other hand, empirical findings show that the budget deficit is inflationary (monetarist hypothesis, MH), which confirms the concept of fiscal dominance and it is impact to increase inflation rate and the decline in the effectiveness of monetary policy.
