Abstract EN

This study aimed at measuring the effectiveness of flipped learning training program in the light of the theory of cognitive burden to develop academic achievement and competence among female students of Imam Abdurrahman bin Faisal University - Faculty of Science and Humanities.

The research sample consisted of (40) students from level The six the Department of Special Education scheduled who study the course of “ Speech disorders” the researcher divided the sample into two qual groups.

The experimental group consisted of (20) students and the control group ((20) students), the researcher prepared pre-test, Rubrics for measuring the performance aspect, and post- test plus academic self-efficacy scale which were applied on the two groups.

The experimental group was taught using the flipped method while the control group was taught using the traditional method.
