The present research aimed at measuring the real situation concerning the acquisition of fourth year Faculty of Education Mathematics pre-service teachers of some learning and creativity skills in the 21st century.

It also aimed at designing a suggested framework that would help in the acquisition of these skills.

The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical research design.

To achieve the aims of the study, the researcher developed the following instruments; a critical thinking skills scale to measure students' ( induction-deduction- interpretation- discrimination) skills and an observation sheet to measure students' performance.

The validity of the instruments was established using the content validity by the jury members and the reliability coefficient was calculated using Alpha Cronbach formula.

It was (0.79) for the critical thinking skills scale and was (0.85) for the observation sheet.

Pearson correlation formula was used to calculate the test-retest of the creative thinking scale and it was (0.81).

Fifty two students enrolled at the fourth year mathematics branch participated in the study.

Means of scores and the ratio of each skill were calculated.

Results revealed that the level of students' acquisition of critical and creative thinking skills was moderate as the highest ratio was (69.71% ) which represented the deduction skill whereas the lowest ration was (9.33% ) which represented the originality skill.

According to these findings the suggested framework was designed.
