The aim of this study was to identify the degree of availability of TIMSS 2019; (Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study) requirements in the books of mathematics for eighth grade in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the fields of mathematic content domains and cognitive domains in mathematics.

To achieve this on which a mathematic content domains analysis card was constructed for the eighth grade mathematics.

The researcher has used the descriptive method based on the method of content analysis where the analysis tool was used after verifying its reliability and steadiness as a tool of collecting the necessary data to answer the questions of the study.

The study has reached a number of results including the availability of 19 out of the 22 criteria from the requirements of (TMISS 2019) in the field of numbers where the percentage reached (33.1% ), which is higher than the required percentage (30% ).

As for the field of algebra, (10) was provided out of (12) criteria where the percentage equaled (24.1% ), which is less than the required percentage (30% ).

While all the eight requirements of (TIMSS 2019) in the field of geometry were met and the percentage reached (24.1% ), which is higher than the required percentage, which is (20% ).

In the field of data and probability the percentage was (18% ), which is slightly less than the required percentage which is (20% ), with a difference in the distribution of ratios on the criteria and dimensions.

All (TIMSS 2019) requirements related to the field of cognitive domains in mathematics are met in fairly balanced proportions, where the percentage of the field of Knowing reached (34.6% ) and is very close to the required percentage, which is (35% ), and the proportion in the field of Applying (42.7% ) which is slightly higher than the required percentage, which is (40% ), while the percentage in the field of Reasoning (22.7% ), which is less than the required percentage which is (25% ) with the presence of a large variation between the inclusion of some criteria ratios at the expense of others.

The study recommended that the requirements of (TIMSS) to be placed within the basics which the development of curriculums of Mathematics depend on.

Also, enriching the eighth grade math books with activities and exercises that enhance the TIMSS requirements that are not available, utilization of the mathematics textbooks of the developed countries in the test of (TIMSS) in the development of methods to include the requirements of (TIMSS) TD in mathematics books in Saudi Arabia.
