Historic origins of self-determination dates back to 18th century.

French revolution adopted this principle and enlisted in its constitutions.

All that proceeded this period was only found in theory.

However, the view changed in international law that gave much more attention to self-determination.

General assembly, through its recommendations recognizes people's right of self-determination as well as security council.

Such an increase in international resolutions of self-determination due to the accumulating number of liberated countries.

Above all, committee of international supreme judicial authority affirmed right of self-determination; and that is how people's right of self-determination became a general principle of international law.
