The UN forces worked in Africa have effectively contributed to resolving many armed conflicts and protecting lives of civilians.

The UN, through its agencies, has stressed the need for these forces, and even the countries participating in it, to adhere to international humanitarian law, Given that the latter controls the field of work of these forces and determines their responsibilities.

However, the reality proved that many cases recorded violations of international humanitarian law committed by members of these forces to the extent that could be classified as international crimes.

We want through this study to examine how to activate international justice in order to subject the perpetrators of these crimes to international criminal justice, or at least to national justice of state.

The assumption of a position within these forces doesn’t in any way constitute a hindrance to criminal accountability for anyone who is proven to be involved in committing an international crime, either personally with respect to soldiers and employees or indirectly with respect to commanders and chiefs responsible for these forces or for the countries participating in them, or Even the international organizations that sponsor it, and the International Criminal Court can exercise its jurisdiction over these forces
