The maritime domain is one of the methods used by shipping carriers to evade the control of the movement of weapons.

In order to combat this phenomenon, it is imperative to disclose the mechanisms adopted and adopted by the international community to curb maritime smuggling, whose provisions we find are contained in the conventions related to the law of the sea and international agreements related to the arms trade.

One possible solution to an arms embargo at sea is found in United Nations Security Council resolutions.
