Judicial expertise is one of the most important procedures that assist the judicial bodies in the fulfillment of their duties.

Judicial expertise is ordered by the judge in technical matters in which he cannot make a decision or issue a judgment without clarifying them, and which necessitate the appointment of an expert, especially in criminal courts where the judge makes his judgment upon his personal conviction, therefore he can be assisted by any mean to help him making that personal conviction.

Judicial expertise is the conduct of an investigation ordered by the judge to a person known as expert to conduct a technical mission without expressing his personal opinion about the dispute heard in front of the court, but rather he gives his technical opinion by addressing a detailed report based upon collecting and analyzing information, and then making a conclusion that should be clear and far from using scientific terminology that necessitate recourse to another expert to explain clarify its meanings.
