Abstract EN

Recently, with the globalization, and the multiple environmental variables, it is necessary to adopt a strategic thinking based on strategic management.

And the increase of competition, the interest of information and technological development, all these led to the emergence of an information system for strategic decisions.

This study aimed to highlight the role of information system in the strategic management of organizations as a fundamental pillar upon which is based, by supporting the study of economic institutions in Bechar city.

And it started from the problematic: “is information system considered as a basic pillar in strategic management of organization?” And it is also relied on the hypothesis: “information system has a major role in strategic management of studied organizations, and constitutes a basic pillar for it”.

As well as, it relied on descriptive method using survey, during the end of January 2021.

Therefore, it found that they focus on using information system in their strategic management, but there is lack in processing and analysis of information.
