The repercussions of the emerging corona virus pandemic have seriously affected the state of the public financial system, which was in a deep crisis before the emergence of this epidemic.

If the spread of the virus can be controlled within a limited period of time, addressing its effects on the effectiveness of public finances may require several years.

Consequently, getting out of this double crisis, which began to show its features starting from the first stage of the spread of the epidemic, requires facing a set of renewed challenges facing the stakes for the sustainability and efficacy of the public financial system, by making use of the lessons and opportunities presented by this unprecedented crisis.
