Abstract EN

This study aims to Know of the development of reinsurance activity in Algeria, And the subscribeof the contribution of the National Institute in covering losses that exceed the capacity of the Algerian insurance companies, In trying to answer the problem of the contribution of the CCR in reinsurance activity.

This study I concluded that That the percentage of the concession of the Algerian insurance companies to the reinsurer of national insurance is restricted as provided by Algerian law, The largest percentage of CCR waiver is indicated, which indicates that most premiums are left in the national market, while a relatively small percentage is transferred to the international market
