This study aims to discuss the conditions surrounding women's entrepreneurial activity in Algeria and to identify the most important challenges faced by women entrepreneurs during their work; In order to achieve this, we have conducted a field study that identified a final sample of 104 nationally distributed businesswomen, using the questionnaire tool and whose results have been analyzed by the statistical program SPSSV.

We have reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which are: Gender change is a discriminatory variable for women entrepreneurs, whose impact extends to many professional and family dimensions; women entrepreneurs in Algeria also face a range of barriers related to the issue of time-management and access to finance.

Other social-related obstacles, including family barriers to reconciling family and professional life, also face societal barriers and funding difficulties, which do not vary depending on activity or family status of the women entrepreneur.
