Abstract EN

The current study aims to discuss one of the most crucial problems that has continually been the subject of research in criminal sector, especially in the specialty of investigations in cases of crimes of terrorism.

The researcher has tried to evaluate tge criminal policy of the Libyan legislator regarding the existence of the specialty in the Libyan investigation process relating to the cases of crimes of terrorism.

Based on this, the study progress has demanded to divide the research into two chapters.

The first one has been devoted to explain the basic rules for the preliminary investigations in the crimes of terrorism.

The second chapter has been devoted to conclude the general rules of the investigation procedures in the cases of crimes of terrorism.

Hereinafter, the study has explained clearly some of the issues in the two sides of specialty on investigators.

The researcher has strongly recommended to do some basic amendments for the texts in which the defaults in the Libyan Legislation have been explained.

However, the researcher has also highlighted some advantages of the Libyan legislation as per the issues in regard.
