Abstract EN

Albusiri was known as the top poet in prophet praise poems and as a committed Sufi.

He seemed as a serious religious man from his prophet praise poems.

The poems also revealed that he was a solitary man not living the life of ordinary people and not interested in what they were seeking.

However, Albusiri wrote various poetic genres including satires, complaints and descriptions of present conditions.

He wrote in an ironic tone because irony is bitter in satire and because it also keeps boredom out of such complaining poems.

His irony was bitter at times and funny at others.

This made his poetry well-received by the recipients and difficult to imitate, have an increased technical level, and added a touch of seriousness.
