Arabic Abstract

تحدث البحث عن أهم المنعطفات المؤثرة في حيوات البشرية بعامة و عن اختراع الحاسوب و الإنترنت بخاصة و أثرهما في تطور العلوم و غزارتها و حلول الكتاب الإلكتروني محل الكتاب الورقي و اتساع الهوة بين دول الشمال تقدما ودول الجنوب تراجعا الأمر الذي فرض على العالم العربي أن يسرع في الإفادة من الإمكانات الهائلة لهذه التقانة في جميع المناحي و خص بالتفصيل الجانب العلمي فحث عليها في جميع مراحل الدراسة وفي كتابة الأبحاث و الكتب و تحقيق المخطوطات وذلك حتى نبقى نحن-العرب و المسلمين-في التاريخ و لا نخرج منه.

English Abstract

This paper explores the important turning points in the history of humanity as it relates to the advancement of technology, specifically computers and the Internet.

Also, the effect of these enhancements on the development of scientific inquiry.

It also highlights the increasing disparity in this field between first world and third world countries which has necessitated that the Arab world take advantage of these technological advancements in order to contribute to different fields such as engaging in scientific research, writing papers and the authentication of historical documents.

This is necessary if we are to remain active contributors to the advancement of the human race and not idle receivers.
