Abstract EN

Human trafficking is a dangerous and ancient criminal phenomenon in the early societies, new in contemporary societies, it violates human rights in general, and the person loses his dignity and degrades his person in what is called slavery in particular, and it is a serious crime because it transgresses the national borders, it is exposed to the weak parties in society and they are children and women which are a crime linked to the crime of smuggling migrants, and thus topped the community's attention, as it confronted it with combat, through this research paper we wanted to shed light on international and regional efforts in combating this crime, which is represented in international and regional agreements, which stipulated the criminalization of this phenomenon, then highlighting the role of organizations involved in tackling the crime of human trafficking, which is ultimately a form of cross-border organized crime, violate human rights and have a close relationship t o the crime of smuggling migrants.
