Avicenna dealt with an important aspect of the study of ut.

Rather, he dealt with an aspect that the contemporaries considered important in the field of phonological studies, namely the Alfon, as he used to define the concept of the latter in languages he heard other than the language of the Arabs.

It is to highlight the achievements of Muslim philosophers in a field considered the core of modern phonological studies.

What emerged from Ibn Sina’s study of the Alfone is not different from what the modern phonological study has produced, which is that the Alfun is an element of the phonem, whose change does not change the meaning.
