The Hassani dialect is considered one of the earliest contemporary dialects to the classical Arabic language, and its people extend their horizons of geography from the desert of Egypt to Libya to Maritania to Morocco, Algeria.

Precise in its composition, clearly meaningful, right in its goal of reformation and emotional influence, because it is often issued by a wise man or woman.

The Hassani proverbs reflected the mentality, morals and values of nobility in which the desert community was known, as well as its distinctive impact of music, its aesthetic structure and its deep social message.
