Abstract EN

The research aims to identify the relationship between attention focus and short and medium handling in football.The researcher used the descriptive method in the survey method to address a research problem.

The research was conducted on a sample represented by junior players in Sulaimaniya Football Club for the football season 2018/2019 ,a total of (14) players.

The researcher used the (Bardoun-Anfimov) test of modified attention by (Abdel-Jawad Taha 1972 to measure the attention focus), as well as the bounce handling test to measure the accuracy of short handling and the ball pass test for a distance of 20 m to measure the accuracy of medium passes in football.

After conducting a presentation and discussion of the results, the researcher concluded that there is a significant correlation between the attention focus and short handling skills tests, while there is no correlation between the attention focus and medium handling in football.
