منهجية الإمام علي (عليه السلام)‎ في مواجهة حركات التكفير المبكر في الإسلام : الخوارج أنموذجاً

Abstract EN

A number of violent separatist thrusts pervaded the Islamic world after the death of prophet Mohammad.

These thrusts brought about different ideologies such as apostasy movement, the position of the oppositionists to the third caliph and al-khawarij movement during the caliphate of imam Ali (AS) .Each Caliph used a certain way in confronting the challenges that threatened his reign.

This paper sheds light on imam Ali's postion in confronting takfir movement especially al-kawarij who held extremist ideas about the other Islamic groups who opposed them in belief.

They also claimed defending ALLah's religion struggling on behalf of sunni muslims and called for using Quran as a judge which caused them to have intellectual inactivity and petrifaction in their understanding of the literal meanings of Quran.
