Abstract EN

Ahmed El Moutaouakil proposed in his project named "Functional Arabic Grammar" a new approaches to describe Arabic language structure and explaining its phenomena; as his approach of the "sentence", the theme of this study.

To shed light the most important issues raised by this approach, we distribute the content of this study on tow chapters: we exposed in the first chapter the derivation phases of the sentence in Functional Arabic grammar, and we presented in the second chapter the definition of the sentence in Functional Arabic grammar, and its types, and order of its constituents.

As well we focused, regarding the last tow elements, on the simple sentence
