The present research paper briefly introduces the Shiites and their origins, and then it explains the attitude of the Twelver Shiites towards Muslims' legislation sources.

This refers to their attitude towards the Qur᾿ān, the Prophet's tradition, and the consensus of Muslim scholars.

The study indicates that the Shiites reject the Qur᾿ān, the Prophet's tradition, and the consensus of Muslim scholars as sources of legislation.

Instead, they count only on the sayings of their Imams and what they claim to be Fāṭemha's version of the Qur᾿ān (or the Slate of Fāṭemha).

They claim that books other than the Qur᾿ān have been revealed to their Imams.

The study refutes their claims and replies to them.
