The Archives Centers have developed applications for smartphones and mobile devices to assist them in their activities and services provided to users.
This study explores these mobile applications, the reasons for their use, their importance in enhancing the Archives Centers services to users and their features.
The study covers three National Archives: United States, United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates.
It concludes with proposals for the Arab Archives Centers that plan to develop successful applications for smartphones and mobile devices.
