Abstract EN

The study deals with the growing importance that environmental issues took in post-cold war era to the point of becoming on the agendas’ top of international community.

Aware of the threats that global environment is facing, the UNO proceeded to organizing numerous conferences, and concluding many international treaties seeking to put a term or at least limiting global environment degradation, the last of which was Paris conference in 2015 considered by observers as the last opportunity to save our planet from catastrophic repercussions of climate changes.

The study will also attempt to assess the ability of the UNO to face climate change affects and how effective its strategy is going to be, in the shade of the demandes of thee need of reforming the UNO.
