Abstract EN

The current study aims to identify the effectiveness of a psychological counseling program for developing the self-confidence of football referees, and the research was applied on a sample of (40) judgments registered in the Egyptian Football Association.

The researcher used the experimental approach to suit him to achieve the research objectives, and the research variables were measured, which were determined in A measure of self-confidence for athletes, and a psychological counseling program was applied to the study sample at the rate of (16) counseling units during (8) weeks, two units per week, unit time (60) minutes, and among the most important findings of the research, the psychological counseling program is effective in improving The level of self-confidence of football referees, the presence of statistically significant differences between the pre-measurement and the post-measurement of the study sample in the level of self-confidence in favor of the post-measurement, there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the study sample in the level of self-confidence according to the gender variable (arena judgment- judgment Assistant), while there are statistically significant differences between the members of the study sample in the level of self-confidence according to the specialization of governance (first degree-second degree-third degree)
