Abstract EN

This study undertakes the criminal protection of the child in custody, which is of a great importance in protecting the rights of the child, which would allow him to live a decent life within his family and society, thus securing him from any violation that could be committed by his guardian.

For this sole purpose, the Algerian legislator, like all other legislations, has devoted legal texts to protect the child in custody, by the determination and criminalization of the acts committed against him and punishing the perpetrators, as stipulated in the Penal Code.
